31st - I awoke in steady pace, folks made breakfast/brunch and I went for a wander a bit then the rain crashed in, the fears today around was that the rain would feck everything up. No one would come out if it chucked it down and the big event with stomgy John and Norwegian hip hop on the beach would become a non event, later we were to find out that the bands were a non event. This was the first time that a biggish name was not booked, names as Cliff Richard, Sporty Spice, Ub40 are the ones I know of in recent years, this years rumours were UB40 without Ali Campbell, Anastacia and Columbo Frank Zappa an the Wham gang...I wonder if they knew the later had split up......Instead it was a MTV award winning Portuguese band and a Norwegian hip hop band….

Still it was pub, lovely bar called goldspot for a few beers and then Rock Café to see Stones cover band website link
